Four students of MSL Business School received six national awards at the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG) graduation on Saturday, 30 May 2026, including the National Overall Best Graduating Student, the highest distinction the Institute confers. Held at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, the ceremony recognised results from the February 2026 examination sitting and took the school’s documented record to 46 national awards across the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and CITG since February 2023.

The honour roll

Six awards, four students

The ceremony’s highest individual honour went to Abigail Cudjoe, named National Overall Best Graduating Student, the top award CITG confers on any candidate nationally. Cudjoe also took two further national awards: Overall Best Student in Advanced Taxation Practice, and joint Overall Best Student in Tax Practice Administration & Ethics, finishing level with a fellow MSL candidate at the highest mark in the country.

The other half of that joint award went to Abraham Gozah. Eric Ofosu was named Overall Best Student in Strategic Tax Planning, and Richard Owiredu Sasu Overall Best Student in International Taxation, completing a haul of six national awards shared among the four.

The records

One ceremony, several milestones

The headline record

Abigail Cudjoe is now the National Overall Best Graduating Student in both ICAG and CITG.

Having taken the national title in ICAG at the March 2024 examination, Cudjoe becomes the first MSL Business School student to hold the highest graduating award in both professional qualifications, and the first to win three national awards in a single sitting on two separate occasions.

The sitting yielded more than individual honours. In Tax Practice Administration & Ethics, the two leading results in the country both belonged to MSL students: Gozah and Cudjoe tied at the highest national mark, giving the school both halves of a single joint award. And across the three subjects examined at CITG’s final level (Strategic Tax Planning, Advanced Taxation Practice, and Tax Practice Administration & Ethics), every Overall Best award went to an MSL candidate: a clean sweep of the final level, alongside the national best overall.

It was also the thirteenth consecutive examination diet at which MSL students have taken national awards across ICAG and CITG, and the school’s seventh straight CITG sitting with national winners.

The six awards were not the whole of MSL’s presence in Accra. They were won by a handful of a far wider group the school prepared for the February sitting, graduates who crossed the stage alongside the prize-winners.

That breadth is the less visible part of the story: evidence of a teaching model built to lift an entire cohort, not only those who finish at the very top of the country.

The platform behind the record

These results are not one-offs. MSL Business School is Ghana’s clear technology leader in professional education, the first and only provider with multimodal AI for professional exam students, and it has built its national record by treating examination preparation as much as an engineering challenge as a teaching one.

Through the MSLApp, students photograph a question and reason through it with AI, generate their own quizzes, flashcards and summaries, and revise against complete archives of past papers and recorded classes. The approach has now produced national-best graduates in two separate professional qualifications.

In 2024, MSL students were named National Overall Best Graduating Chartered Accountant at all three ICAG sittings in a single year, a clean sweep of that qualification. The 2026 taxation results follow the same pattern.

The complete, independently verifiable record (every MSL winner, award and sitting since February 2023) is published on the school’s Awards page.

“I am deeply proud of Abigail, Eric, Abraham and Richard, and of every MSL student who graduated in Accra this weekend. Results like these belong first to the students and the work they put in. Our part is to set a high standard and give them tools built for the way they are examined; the achievement is theirs. We are grateful to the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana, for recognising their effort.”
