The honour roll

Six awards, four students

The ceremony’s highest individual honour went to Abigail Cudjoe, who was named the National Overall Best Graduating Student — the top distinction CITG confers on any candidate in the country. Cudjoe collected two further national awards on the day: Overall Best Student in Advanced Taxation Practice, and joint Overall Best Student in Tax Practice Administration & Ethics, where she finished level with a fellow MSL candidate at the highest mark in the country.

That joint award was shared with Abraham Gozah, who took the other half of the Overall Best in Tax Practice Administration & Ethics. Eric Ofosu was named Overall Best Student in Strategic Tax Planning, and Richard Owiredu Sasu Overall Best Student in International Taxation. Between them, the four students accounted for all six of the sitting’s national awards.

The records

One ceremony, several milestones

The headline record

Abigail Cudjoe is now the National Overall Best Graduating Student in both ICAG and CITG.

Having taken the national title in ICAG at the March 2024 examination, Abigail becomes the only MSL Business School student to hold the highest graduating award in both professional qualifications — and the only one to win three national awards in a single sitting on two separate occasions.

The sitting produced more than individual honours. In Tax Practice Administration & Ethics, both of the country’s leading results belonged to MSL students: Gozah and Cudjoe tied at the highest national mark, giving the school both halves of a joint national award in one paper. And across the three final-level subjects CITG examines — Strategic Tax Planning, Advanced Taxation Practice, and Tax Practice Administration & Ethics — every Overall Best award went to an MSL candidate, a clean sweep of the final level to go with the national best overall.

The graduation also marked the thirteenth consecutive examination diet at which MSL students have won national awards across ICAG and CITG, and the school’s seventh straight CITG sitting with national winners.

The six national awards were not the whole story in Accra. They were won by a handful of a much wider MSL group recognised at the ceremony — students the school prepared for the February 2026 sitting who graduated alongside the prize-winners.

That breadth matters as much as the headline results: it reflects a teaching model that lifts the whole cohort, not only those who finish at the very top of the country.

The platform behind the record

MSL Business School is Ghana’s clear technology leader in professional education — the first and only provider with multimodal AI for professional exam students. These results are not one-offs; the school has built its national record by treating examination preparation as a technology problem as much as a teaching one.

Through the MSLApp, students can photograph an exam question and work through it with AI, generate their own quizzes, flashcards and lesson summaries, and revise against full libraries of past questions and recorded classes. That method now delivers national-best results in two distinct professional qualifications.

In 2024, MSL produced the National Overall Best Graduating Chartered Accountant at all three ICAG sittings in a single year — a clean sweep. In 2026, the pattern repeats in taxation: MSL students took every final-level subject award CITG offers, and the national best overall.

The complete, verified record — every MSL winner, award and sitting since February 2023 — is published on the Awards page. Students preparing for the CITG examinations can learn more about MSL’s CITG tuition.

“These results are not luck. They come from holding students to a high standard and giving them technology built for the way they are actually examined. I could not be prouder — of Abigail, Eric, Abraham and Richard, and of every MSL student who graduated in Accra this weekend.”
