Our Vision: Investing in Ambition — Why is MSL Business School offering these Merit Scholarships?
This program was established to give back and support highly driven, exceptional young students on their journey to earning the ICAG qualification. The scholarship is inspired by the academic journey of our founder, Michael Siaw Larbi (MSL).
While a student at the University of Ghana Business School, Michael completed all 16 ICAG papers (at the time) in under two years, passing them all on the first attempt and finishing the qualification in his third year of university at age 21. He graduated as the National Overall Best ICAG Candidate at the Final Level and also won the Overall Best Candidate awards for the earlier exam levels. The following year, he graduated from his undergraduate program with First Class Honours as the Valedictorian and Overall Best Graduating Student, achieving the highest GPA of 3.94 (out of 4.0) that year.
This scholarship program is our way of making the path to becoming a Chartered Accountant more accessible. You can read more about MSL’s academic journey here.

Level 2: At least 4 papers (unless you have fewer remaining)
Level 1: All 4 papers (unless you have fewer remaining)
