Our Refund & Deferral Policy
At MSL Business School, we provide various programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Each program has specific refund and deferral policies to ensure clarity and fairness.
This policy sets out, clause by clause, when a refund or deferral is available, what charges apply, and how to make a request. Each clause is numbered so it can be referred to directly.
Refund and deferral at a glance
The table below summarises the policy by program type. The numbered clauses that follow are the authoritative terms; the clause references are shown for each program.

Two further sets of terms apply across all programs: the transferability of fees (section 5), and payment, sponsorship and currency conditions (section 6). Fees paid are personal to the registered student and cannot be transferred to another student, program or exam sitting.
Full tuition programs
Refunds before classes commence
Refund requests made before the commencement of classes are subject to an administrative charge of 35% of the fees paid. The remaining balance is refunded within 3 working days of approval.
No refund once classes commence
Students are not entitled to a refund once tuition or classes have commenced, regardless of their circumstances.
Deferral
Students who are unable to continue their studies may defer their tuition fees to the immediately following exam session, provided the deferral request is made within the first two weeks of the commencement of lectures.
No refunds or deferrals after two weeks
No refunds or deferrals are permitted under any circumstances after the second week of the commencement of lectures.
Late joins
Students who join a class after the second week and are granted access to the course materials via the MSL Business School App or any other platform are not entitled to any refund or deferral.
Crash course and intervention programs
No refunds or deferrals
For crash course or intervention programs, refunds and deferrals are not provided under any circumstances. Once payment has been made, no requests for refunds or deferrals will be accepted, irrespective of the reason.
Masterclass programs
Refunds before the masterclass
Refund requests for masterclass programs can be made only at least three days before the start of the program, and are subject to a 35% administrative charge.
Less than three days before
Refund requests made less than three days before the commencement of the masterclass will not be entertained.
No deferrals
No deferrals are permissible for masterclass programs.
Discounts on course fees
Claim at the time of payment
Discounts offered by MSL Business School must be claimed at the time of making payment for the course.
No retroactive refund
If a student does not take advantage of a discount when making payment, they are not entitled to a refund for the discount amount after the payment has been made.
An offer only
Discounts are an offer and cannot be claimed retroactively or refunded once payment is complete.
Scope
This policy applies to all discounts offered by MSL Business School at the time of student registration.
Transferability of fees
Fees are tied to the registered student
Fees paid to MSL Business School are personal to the student who registered and paid them. They cannot be transferred to, or used by, any other person under any circumstances.
No transfer between programs or papers
Fees are paid for the specific program, course or paper a student registers for. They cannot be moved to a different program, course or paper after payment. A deferral under clause 1.3 keeps a student on the same program; it is not a transfer to a different one.
No transfer between exam sittings
Fees cannot be carried forward to a later exam sitting except through an approved deferral under clause 1.3. No informal arrangement to move fees to a future sitting will be recognised.
Payment, sponsorship and currency
Access depends on completed payment
Access to classes, recordings and the MSL Business School App depends on full payment being received and cleared. Where a payment fails, is reversed, is charged back, or is withheld for any reason, MSL Business School may suspend or withdraw access until the matter is resolved.
Dismissal for misconduct
Where a student is dismissed or removed from a program for serious misconduct or a breach of MSL Business School's terms or code of conduct, any refund or deferral is at the discretion of MSL Business School.
Payments by an employer or sponsor
Where fees are paid by an employer, sponsor or other third party, any refund due under this policy is returned to the original payer, not to the student. All other terms of this policy, including the rules on non-transferability, apply in full.
Currency and transaction charges
Refunds, where applicable, are issued in the same currency as the original payment and are net of any bank, transfer or transaction charges. MSL Business School is not responsible for losses caused by exchange rate movements between the date of payment and the date of refund.

All refund and deferral requests must be submitted in writing to the MSL Business School support team.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 3 working days of approval.
By registering for any program, students acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy.
This policy ensures consistency and fairness across our programs while maintaining the quality of our services.
