The 2026 Final-Level Clean Sweep

Every terminal award in the Chartered Tax Practitioner qualification — won by MSL in a single sitting.

The three Final Level 2 papers are the terminal examinations a candidate must pass to qualify as a Chartered Tax Practitioner: Strategic Tax Planning, Advanced Taxation Practice, and Tax Practice Administration & Ethics. At the February 2026 CITG examination sitting, MSL Business School students won the National Overall Best Student award in all three — and in Tax Practice Administration & Ethics, both Overall Best Student awards, where two MSL students tied at the highest mark in the country. Add the National Overall Best Graduating Student, and MSL Business School swept the entire apex of the qualification in one examination.

Beyond one year

The 2024 clean sweep was not an anomaly.

Thirteen consecutive ICAG and CITG examination sittings since February 2023. Every single one produced at least one MSL student awarded as a national best. Four MSL students have each taken three national awards in a single sitting — and Abigail Cudjoe has now done it twice, in two different professional qualifications.

13 of 13

Consecutive examination sittings — every ICAG and every CITG sitting from February 2023 to February 2026 has produced an MSL national award winner.

Across two qualifications

Abigail Cudjoe is now the National Overall Best Graduating Student in both ICAG and CITG.

In March 2024, Abigail Cudjoe was named the National Overall Best Graduating Student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) — opening MSL Business School's clean sweep of all three 2024 ICAG Overall Best Graduating Student awards. In February 2026, she took the National Overall Best Graduating Student award of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG), alongside the Overall Best Student awards in Advanced Taxation Practice and Tax Practice Administration & Ethics. Six national awards. Two professional qualifications. Two apex titles. She is the only MSL Business School student to win three national awards in a single sitting twice — and the only one to hold the National Overall Best Graduating Student distinction across both the Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Practitioner qualifications.

Standout performers

The women who set the standard at MSL Business School

Across MSL Business School's record are women who did not just graduate at the top — they defined what top performance looks like. Princess Akuwa Agbesi delivered a triple-award sitting in August 2023, becoming the National Overall Best Graduating Student of the CITG in the same examination she topped Advanced Taxation Practice. Abigail Cudjoe opened MSL's 2024 ICAG clean sweep with a triple-award result and has since become the only MSL student to hold the National Overall Best Graduating Student title in both ICAG and CITG. Franklina Nintori was named Overall Best Female Graduating Student and topped Advanced Taxation at the July 2025 ICAG sitting. Their results sit among the strongest in MSL's national record.

Routes to chartered status

How the ICAG and CITG qualifications work

The ICAG qualification structure

The Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) qualification is structured across three progressive levels — Level 1 (foundation), Level 2 (intermediate), and Level 3 (professional). Each level builds on the previous one, with examinations held three times a year in March, July, and November. Wilfred Kwadwo Kumah's Overall Best Student award at ICAG Level 2 in November 2025 demonstrates MSL Business School's tuition strength across all three levels — not only the final professional stage where the National Overall Best Graduating Student titles are conferred.

The CITG qualification structure

The Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG) qualification produces specialist tax practitioners and is the formal pathway to Chartered Tax Practitioner status in Ghana. CITG examinations are held twice a year, in February and August, across subject areas including International Taxation, Advanced Taxation Practice, Strategic Tax Planning, Oil Gas & Other Minerals Taxation, Tax Audit & Investigations, and Tax Practice Administration & Ethics. MSL Business School has produced the CITG National Overall Best Graduating Student every year since 2023 — Princess Akuwa Agbesi (2023), Paula Ayorkor Tengey (2024), Rose Bawuah (2025), and Abigail Cudjoe (2026).

The MSL Business School App

Every MSL Business School student — whether studying ICAG or CITG, whether at Level 1, Level 2, or the final professional level — has access to the MSL Business School App, which integrates structured study materials, multimodal AI tools (text, voice, and image input, including photo-based exam question solving), revision frameworks, past examination questions, full course video libraries, live class recordings, and performance tracking into one organised learning environment. The technology infrastructure is the platform that allows MSL Business School students to produce the verified award record documented above.

Context

ICAG National Award Winners from MSL Business School

Within the ICAG qualification, the National Overall Best Graduating Student distinction represents the highest academic performance across the entire graduating cohort.

MSL students have secured this distinction across multiple examination sessions and multiple years.

In addition, MSL candidates have earned subject-level national awards across Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 of the ICAG examination, covering foundational, advanced and strategic papers.

What distinguishes this record is consistency.

Different cohorts. Different examination sessions. Different papers.

The outcome has remained the same: national-level performance.

When excellence repeats across cycles, it reflects preparation that is structured, examiner-aligned and performance-driven.

CITG National Award Winners from MSL Business School

The CITG professional qualification demands precise statutory interpretation, analytical depth and disciplined application of Ghana's tax framework.

Across successive CITG examinations, MSL students have secured national awards across every major subject area, including Oil, Gas & Other Minerals Taxation, Strategic Tax Planning, Advanced Taxation Practice, Tax Audit & Investigations, International Taxation, Tax Practice Administration & Ethics and National Overall Best Graduating Student honours.

These are technically rigorous examinations.

National distinctions at this level reflect mastery of legislation, clarity of reasoning and controlled execution under time pressure.

The pattern has been sustained across examination sittings.

Why MSL Leads ICAG and CITG Exam Results in Ghana

Professional examinations are competitive by design. National awards are limited.

When the same institution repeatedly produces national best students across different cohorts and different examination cycles, it signals something deeper than isolated achievement.

It signals system strength.

At MSL Business School, preparation is delivered online through defined academic structures. Revision cycles are planned. Practice is timed. Feedback is direct and examiner-focused.

MSL Business School is Ghana's clear technology leader in professional education — the first and only provider with multimodal AI for professional exam students. The MSL Business School App integrates structured materials, revision frameworks, practice systems, multimodal AI tools and performance tracking into one organised learning environment. Students work within a disciplined ecosystem rather than managing fragmented resources.

Consistency is intentional.

And intentional preparation produces measurable outcomes.

The names listed on this page represent individual excellence.

The pattern behind them reflects institutional discipline.

The Leading ICAG and CITG Tuition Provider in Ghana

Within Ghana's professional accounting and taxation landscape, many institutions prepare candidates for ICAG and CITG examinations.

Few demonstrate sustained national performance across multiple years.

For candidates researching ICAG tuition in Ghana or CITG tuition in Ghana, national awards provide objective evidence of academic leadership.

At MSL Business School, excellence is not promotional language.

It is documented performance.

And it has been sustained.

MSL Business School has produced more than 45 national academic award winners in ICAG and CITG professional examinations in Ghana since its founding. This includes the National Overall Best Graduating Chartered Accountant for all three ICAG examination sittings held in 2024 — March, July and November — making MSL the first tuition provider in Ghana to achieve a clean sweep of all ICAG Overall Best Graduating Student awards in a single examination year.
