What this masterclass is
AI Mastery for Beginners is a practical, hands on course for beginners, professionals, students and business owners who want to understand Artificial Intelligence and actually use it to improve productivity, automate repetitive work and think more clearly.
You move beyond asking AI questions and hoping for something useful. You learn to run it as a personal assistant across research, writing, communication, planning and problem solving, and to check what it gives you before you rely on it. No coding and no technical background are required at any point.
The course is built around building rather than watching. Every session is hands on, using your own job, your own studies or your own business as the material, so what you construct is immediately yours to use.
By the end you will be able to
- Set up an AI workspace that already knows your role, your projects and your files, so you stop retyping context.
- Write instructions that return professional work first time, and save the ones that prove themselves.
- Research a topic and know which parts you can rely on, because you verified them rather than hoped.
- Turn a difficult email, a long document or a full week of work into something handled in minutes.
- Choose the right tool for a job and stop paying for subscriptions you barely open.
Capstone project. Build your personal AI workspace. Everything across the four sessions assembles into one deliverable: a working AI setup holding your tools, workflows, saved prompts and resources, configured around how you actually work.
Four topics, each built on the last
One topic per live session, in the order that makes each one usable before the next begins.
Topic 01
AI fundamentals
How AI works, what it genuinely can and cannot do, where it fails and why, and how to use it responsibly on work that matters.
Topic 02
Prompt engineering
How to communicate with AI so it returns accurate, professional work instead of generic filler, and how to save what works so you never write it twice.
Topic 03
AI research
Research, summarize, analyze and organize information, and build the habit of verifying what you are told before you rely on it.
Topic 04
AI for everyday work
Apply all of it to real tasks: writing, planning, communication and daily productivity, until using AI becomes ordinary rather than an event.
Tools covered: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Notion, Google Docs and Excel. The masterclass can be completed on the free tiers of the tools used.
Six working systems, yours to keep
Not handouts and not slides. You build each one live during the sessions and you keep it when the masterclass ends.
Personal AI workspace
One place holding your preferred tools, your organized workflows, your saved prompts and templates, and your own resources.
Personal prompt library
Reusable instructions for the work you repeat every week: emails and reports, research, brainstorming, planning projects, learning new topics and business tasks.
AI research assistant workflow
A system for finding information, asking sharper questions, summarizing long documents, verifying responses and producing a finished research report.
Email and communication toolkit
Draft professional emails, rewrite messages that are not landing, adjust tone for the person reading, and produce considered responses far faster.
AI productivity dashboard
One place to manage tasks, notes, ideas, learning goals and everything AI produces for you, built in Notion, Google Docs or Excel.
AI tool selection guide
A clear way to decide which tool fits which job, so you stop guessing and stop paying for overlapping subscriptions you barely open.
Four live sessions across two weekends
Every session is hands on. You build with your own screen open and you can stop and ask. Nothing here is a recorded lecture you watch alone.
| Session | Topic | You leave with | Date | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session 1 | AI fundamentals | A working setup and a clear sense of what to trust | Saturday, 8 August 2026 | 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm GMT |
| Session 2 | Prompt engineering | The first entries in your prompt library | Sunday, 9 August 2026 | 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm GMT |
| Session 3 | AI research | Your research workflow, end to end | Saturday, 15 August 2026 | 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm GMT |
| Session 4 | AI for everyday work | Your finished workspace and dashboard | Sunday, 16 August 2026 | 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm GMT |
Sessions run live on Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere. Every session is recorded and stays available on the MSL Business School App for six months.
One fee, everything included
GHS 150 a session for eight hours of live teaching, six systems you keep, and six months of access to every recording.
- Four live sessions, eight hours in total. Your questions answered in the room, not by email three days later.
- Six months of extended access. Every recording on the MSL Business School App, so a lost Saturday is not a lost session.
- MSL Certificate of Completion. Issued once you complete the masterclass.
- Six finished systems. Workspace, prompt library, research workflow, communication toolkit, dashboard and tool guide.
- Templates and starting files. You never build from a blank page in a live session.
- No prerequisites and nothing extra to buy. Free tiers of the tools covered are enough.
Is this the right masterclass for you
- You have never used AI seriously, or tried once and gave up.
- Your week is full of research, writing, planning and follow up.
- You are a professional, a student, a business owner or a job seeker who wants a real advantage.
- You want something working by the end, not a certificate you file away.
- You have a laptop and two free hours on each of the four days.
- You already run a mature AI workflow and want advanced material.
- You are looking for coding, model training or API work. This masterclass has none.
- You cannot attend live and do not want to work through recordings.
We did not read about this.
We built it, shipped it, and have taught with it every day since.
MSL Business School is Ghana's most awarded professional education institution, and the first and only provider with multimodal AI for professional exam students.
The AI inside the MSL Business School App was built and trained in house, over months, on every paper we teach. It works in text, voice and images, so a student stuck at eleven at night can photograph the question in front of them and be walked through it. That is not a tool we licensed and put our name on.
The same team runs your masterclass, on the same platform that holds your recordings afterwards.
A masterclass in using AI, taught by the people who built the AI.

Before you register
I am not technical at all. Will I keep up?
Yes. The masterclass is built for complete beginners and there are no prerequisites. Nothing in the four sessions requires coding, and every tool used runs in a browser. The pace assumes you are starting from zero, because most participants are.
Do I have to be an MSL student to join?
No. The MSL Masterclass Series is open to everyone. You do not need to be enrolled in an ICAG, CITG, CIMA or any other MSL course to register.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded and available on the MSL Business School App for six months after the masterclass ends. You can catch up before the next session and revisit anything as often as you want.
Where do the sessions take place?
Live online on Google Meet. Your joining link is sent before the first session. You can attend from anywhere, in Ghana or outside it.
What do I need before the first session?
A laptop and a stable internet connection. A laptop matters because you are building your own workspace during the session rather than watching a demonstration. Any set up steps are sent to you in advance.
Will I have to pay for AI tools on top of the fee?
No. The masterclass can be completed on the free tiers of the tools covered. The tool selection guide exists so that you can then decide for yourself what is worth paying for, once you know how you actually work.
How do I pay the fee?
Complete the registration form, then pay the GHS 600 fee using the payment details shown on the form. Send your proof of payment to us on WhatsApp on 053 050 4026 and we confirm your place. If you would rather ask something before paying, message us on the same number.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You receive an MSL Certificate of Completion once you have completed the masterclass.
Is there a deadline to register?
Registration closes when the first session begins on Saturday, 8 August at 4:00 pm GMT. The cohort runs once and everyone starts together, so there is no way to join partway through and catch up on the build.
Will this run again if I miss it?
Future cohorts are not currently scheduled. If these dates do not work for you, message us on WhatsApp and we will let you know when the next one opens.
More masterclasses coming soon
Others follow in the MSL Masterclass Series, and each is announced here as it opens for registration.
Last updated . Dates, fees and session content are confirmed by MSL at registration.
